Williamson Trophy 2003

This years event, on 30th August, was won by Ross Atkinson.

The trophy was originally presented to the club by the late Norman Williamson in the early 1970's. Originally played over 9 holes [some thought that was more than enough golf in one day for juniors at the time !] it later became a full 18 hole event. A scratch Williamson Trophy was introduced when the standard of junior golf demanded it, however this has not been run for some time. If the current improvement in standards of junior golf at Alderley continue, maybe it will be resurrected.
