Alderley Edge Golf Club
A cracking turnout for the Captains' Drive In and it was blessed with a clear blue sky! It was great to see this New Years’ Day tradition return today after a break of a few years.
Lady Captain Jo Pratt stepped up first and hit her drive 163 yards, Captain Sean Hall followed her with a 213 yard drive. Well done to both for getting past 'Fodder's Tree'!
Thank you to everyone who had a guess on the yardage, £180 was raised for the Captains' Charity – The Stroke Association.
