Alderley Edge Golf ClubThere was some good scoring today in the Centenary trophy. This is the only fully mixed board competition in the club and it produced a very close result, as follows:
Debbie Law 38pts (1st prize = £80)
Celia Berent 38pts (2nd prize = £40)
Tom Ricketts 37pts (3rd prize = £20)
Mr Captain 37pts
Sue Kendrick 36pts
Ollie Lane 36pts
Sue Freeman 36pts
The prizes will be put on the winners' accounts at the Pro's shop and , because of Covid regulations, there was no presentation this year.
Mr Captain clearly benefited from all the practice that he has had over the weekend, totalling 54 holes on Friday (to raise £6,000 plus for charity with Mrs C), 18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes in the Centenary trophy.
