AEGC - Alliance Men's Foursomes - Sunday 22nd March at home

Alliance Men’s Foursomes

Alderley Edge took on Regent Park GC in the first round on Sunday 22nd March, and triumphed by 5 matches to 2.

Let’s hope we can do an Alliance double and win in the Archie Preston Mixed Foursomes on Sunday 29th.

AEGC features in 'Sport in Profile' magazine

I hope you all take the opportunity to read the article, featuring Alderley Edge Golf Club, which we submitted to ‘Sport in Profile’ magazine. Issue 5 of the magazine had a major theme of golf clubs throughout Britain and we were very pleased to be able to highlight the qualities of AEGC locally and nationally.

The on-line version is very easy to navigate and AEGC features on pages 46-49.

Opening Sides - Saturday 14th March 2015

Despite a cold day, Opening Sides 2015 turned out to be a most enjoyable and memorable day for Mr Captain, John Deakin, Mr. President Brian Boughey and those who played golf during the day and dined together in the evening.

A win for Mr. President's team throws down the gauntlet for the rest of the year.

The junior raffle raised £1265.00 thanks to the generosity of those attending and those who made donations.
