Well the wet weather in the morning didn't stop some good scores being posted, Tony Cooper set the early pace with a 65.
The sun came out in the afternoon doing its best to dispel the rumours of the Captains weather jinx, and along with it a barrage of great scores.
In division 2 Matt Cresey finished third with a 66. Our resident hombre Paul Grundy, sporting a sombrero and low slung pistols shot a 63 for second place. But the winner despite landing his second shot by the first tee, then pitching into the Captain's bunker and finishing with a 6 was another morning player Aled Jones who shot a fantastic 62. Sorry did I mention Aled went in the Captain's bunker.
In division 1 Tony's 65 put him in third place. Andy Wells also with a 65 and once again wearing that bridesmaids dress he seems so fond of finished second. Your time is coming Andy. The winner who went round the front 9 in one over gross!! was Ollie Lane with another fantastic 62.
