June 2023 Monthly Competition Result

Another sunny day with the course in excellent condition. The Pin positions were tough which might account for some of the scoring.

The monthly competition is split into 2 divisions, Division 1 is up to 14.0 handicap and Division 2 is 14.1 and above.

Two from each division qualify for the Monthly Competition final and the winner of each Division wins £50.

1 Harry Sexton 40 and off a TWO handicap.

1 Brian Pennington 37 on a count back.
2 N J Bamberger 37
3 Neil Johnson 36

June Qualifiers for the Monthly Final will be Harry Sexton, Andrew Young, Brian Pennington and N J Bamberger.

Already qualified for the final are Logan Stanyer, Jonathan Donahoe, Drew Roberts, Matthew Walsh, Sean Hall, Robert Anderson, Gary Johnstone and Bobby Murphy.

Each Two was worth £6.86.

It will come as no surprise with THREE Twos that Ken Hall won the Captain's Nearest The Pin competition and adds £40 to his bar card.

You will have seen the Club Championship has been postponed to later in the season which means this Saturday is a singles stableford qualifying competition.

Presidents day is the 17th June and as it is a Major there will be a presentation at 6.30pm.
