Ladies enjoying cakes and tea at the halfway house
14 teams took part in the Ladies 18 Hole Open Competition on Thursady 28th June and, despite the weather becoming increasingly hot throughout the day, the ladies were in good spirit and some very good scores were recorded.
The winning away team comprising 2 ladies from Hazel Grove Golf Club and one from Cheadle Golf Club came in with an outstanding score of 88. The runner up away team was Prestbury with a very respectable score of 84.
Mo Monk's team won first prize for the home team with a score of 81 with Sue Freeman's team being runners up with 79 points.
Nearest the pin on the 15th hole was won by Val Waters from Hazel Grove.
Well done to all who took part.
