This was played on Tuesday the 15th October in extremely wet conditions and muddy conditions.

13 ladies took part in this competition with Tracy Smith winning with  net 79.

For those who did not qualify for the final there was a Subsidiary Stableford competition won by Alison Roberts.

England Golf Medal and Bunty Booth Competition

Due to the weather being so wet we had to combine these two competitions together as we were running out of time.

The conditions were very wet underfoot but Celia Berent won the combined competitions and will go through in the Bunty Booth to play at Worsley Golf Club in June 2020.

This coming Tuesday is the last of the major competitions, the Medal Final and Subsidiary Stableford.

Tuesday the 24th September

It will now take place on Tuesday the 15th October.

Ladies Exchange Day 17th September

This took place at St Melyd Golf Club Denbighshire.

The re arranged exchange day went ahead on Tuesday the 17th September in glorious sunshine. This is a mature parkland 9 hole course in Denbighshire, North Wales with views of the Orme.

The competition was a fun 3 Ball AmAm with nearest the pin on the 8th, Orme View and the longest drive on the 16th, Bishop's Wood.

The winners of the competitions were Gwyn Holt, Tracy Smith and Alison Roberts with a score of 76 and all 3 players managing to score on the 10th, Graig Fawr, the hardest hole on the course. The longest drive was won by Sue Kendrick. No one managed to get on the green on the 8th so a prize was given for the only birdie of the day by Valerie Hornsby on the par5 11th hole.

Well done to all winners. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the day at St Melyd and the Welsh sunshine on the terrace at the end of the day.
