Handicap B Result

The team made a good start with a draw, 3 and a half to 3 and a half at Tytherington, away. It was a very wet course, so for early season golf that was a good outcome. We meet Tytherington again at home next month.

Business Ladies

A great start to the season when the Business Ladies team of Wendy, Sue and Kath beat the ladies from Marple, 2 matches to 1.

It was played on a glorious sunny afternoon, mud free, what a pleasure!

Thank you to Kath for the delicious cakes we enjoyed at the end of the match.

Ladies Bridge

A good afternoon was had by all at a well attended bridge drive.

A big thank you to Eileen and Chris for organising the afternoon which also raised £75 towards LC's charity, the BHF.

Opening sides

What a lovely start to the golfing season! The weather was fine and as always truly supported by the Ladies and a lovely meal.

A big thank you to Beryl and Sue for organising the day and making the tables look very spring like with the vases of daffodils.

The results of the winter league were announced with the " dream team" of Julie, Lisa and Mary winning.

A big thank you to you all and not to forget that Lady Captain's team won!

Good golfing.

L. Captain

Winter Warmer

It was a very cold morning but with blue skies when the ladies from Alderley were given their usual warm welcome by Knutsford Golf Club.

21 ladies played in 3's, for many the first 18 holes we have played for sometime. The winning team with 79 points were Karen, Sandra and Sue K closely followed on a card playoff by Julie, Sue W and Angela.

The longest drive was won by Celia and nearest the pin by Beryl.

Anne and Ian served up a very welcome and tasty dinner.

Alison thanked Lisa for organising the day and to Anne and Ian for their hospitality.

Mail on Sunday 2016

On Monday the ladies team of Gwyn, Marion, Sue, Liz A and Lisa played in the first round of the Mail on Sunday at Knutsford Golf Club

Knutsford ladies proved too good for us and we unfortunately lost the match 3.5 to 1.5 which is such a shame after we progressed through to round 7 last year.

Such is golf.
