BL Match 23/05
The Business Ladies played Bramall Park away and enjoyed good match. Kim and Justine made their debuts for the team and were a great addition to the squad. The result was 2 wins and 1 loss, a win for AEGC.
B Team match 24/05
The B team played at home against Chorlton and it proved a very even match. The end result was 3 wins, 3 losses and a half. Lots of good golf resulting in a draw. Another step back to the pre covid world was achieved as the club house had reopened, the match tea did not have to be ‘take-away’. As social distancing is still in place the servings were individually plated, and presented with such style the away team took pictures! Many thanks to Sam and the team for rising to the occasion and promoting the hospitality of our club.
9 hole league 04/06
AEGC played Hazelgrove in the 9 hole league and narrowly lost by 3 points.
Alison Roberts played with Claire Roberts, Liz Gardner played with Mary O’Toole and Mo Monk played with LP Yvonne Grundy.
The weather was fantastic and the course very interesting. All the matches were enjoyable and a good time had by all
Business Ladies 06/06
The BL team met High Legh for an away match. The beautiful weather lead to a flurry of discussion about team colours The summer option of white shorts was discussed and discarded, maybe next week?? The course was in very good condition and the AEGC ladies won 2 games and lost one. Over all win for AEGC.
