Alderley Edge Golf Club
The Hospital Trophy was played over two rounds on Saturday 11 and 18 May.
It was great to play in the sunshine and despite the rain over the past few days the course was in good condition.
Thanks everyone who attended the presentation, and if you weren't able to make it you missed out on the beautiful views, good company, a convivial atmosphere and seeing the winners receive their just rewards.
Round 1 was won by Richard Walker shooting a net 64.
Runner up was Tony Griffin with a net 66, beating Paul Rowley on a card play off.
Round 2 was won by Alex Ridgway shooting a net 63.
Runner up was Mr Captain with a net 65 and in third place was Vice Captain who shot 1 under par gross and a net 66.
There were 20 twos in round 2 today sharing £91.50 and winning £4.57 each.
Bobby Murphy won the Captain's nearest the pin on the 15th.
The Hospital Trophy was won by Mr Captain (following the precedent set by last years Captain Alex) with rounds of net 70 + 64 giving 134 (no pressure for next year Harry)
Runner up was Richard Walker with rounds of net 64 + 71 giving 135
Tony Griffin finished in 3rd place with rounds of net 66 + 70 giving 136
Prizes were awarded to the Hospital Trophy winner and winners of round 1 and round 2.
