Alderley Edge Golf ClubThank you to everyone who took part in my Pro's Prize on Saturday, apart from a little bit of rain first thing it ended up being a nice day for golf and the scoring showed that too.
Congratulations to our President, Paul Penney for winning with 40 points off 6, reducing his handicap to 5. New member Paul Finney narrowly missed out on a card playoff, reducing his handicap to 13.
Andrew Boyle continued his run of good form with 39 points, reducing to 11 for the first time and Tom Ricketts seems to be enjoying his newly custom fitted set of Ping clubs scoring 38 for fourth place.
In fifth with was Brian Foden with 37 despite playing from the wrong tee box on the 10th tee!
I also carried out the draw for the trip for two to Woodhall Spa in the evening, which was won by Tom Ricketts.
