Winter league - table and results update – Sunday 19 Feb
Another round of winter league was played yesterday with the top two teams I and B both somewhat surprisingly losing ! Great wins for Team H and D.
It is now very tight at the top although Team H (in third place ) have played one game more. Team I still has a lead of two points !
Three more rounds to go from 26th Feb to 12th March !

Winter Warmer – Saturday 18 Feb
A pleasant day on the course plus ironed greens produced some good scoring.
The winners with 38 points and winning £30 each were:
Andrew Young / Richard Walker / Drew Sutton
proving that age is no barrier to performance on the golf course.
A card play off was required for second place and winning £20 each with 35 points:
Paul Finney / Alan Adams / Ron Ricketts
Hansel Allen / Andrew Marshall / Richard Lawson also with 35 points were third.
A total field of 50 players made for a competitive and enjoyable fun event.
