Alderley Edge Golf Club
The final round of Winter League 22/23 was played today in good weather conditions and thankfully not on the temporary greens !
The leaders Team B held their nerve for a win in their game on the final hole to take the title of Winter League Champions.

Congratulations to Andrew Boyle, John Lawton, Duncan Macpherson and Andy Hogg - the prize will be awarded at opening sides. Attached is a photo of three of the winning team - missing is Andrew Boyle.
Last year's champs (Team I) lost to Team D but retained second place in the Table .
Team M came third after a strong finish closely followed by H and D.
A mention to Team G who struggled a little through these games but finished with a fine draw against Charles and Brian .
Thank you again to Charles for supporting Winter League again and to Sarah for looking after the Pros shop while Charles was out on the course trying to make up the handicap differences !
Hopefully the comp will be well supported again next Winter.
