Ladies Noticeboard

Congratulations go out to our August Medal and nine hole Stableford winners, for the great scores they achieved this week.

The Division 1 winner was Olwen Davies with a nett 70. Runner up was Karen Pennington with a nett 74.

The Division 2 winner was Justine Jackson with a nett 70. Runner up was Claire Roberts with a nett 74.

In the 9 hole competition, Angela Atkinson won with 18 points on a count back. Runner up was Alison Roberts also with 18 points.

Well done to Olwen Davies and Rose Ramahlo, who both got birdies. Olwen got a 4 on the par 5 first hole and Rose achieved a 2 on the 4th hole.

Next week is our annual Bunty Booth Stableford competition. Good luck to everyone who is playing.

Lady Captain

On Friday the 5th August, the ladies held their Club Championship. They competed in a 36 hole medal competition. This was a new addition to the ladies calendar for 2022, with a purpose of adding further challenge and competition.

On the day, the overall scratch winner was Lady Captain, Janette and overall net winner was Lesley Smith.

Well done to everyone who took part. Although tough, a fun day was had by all.

Congratulations go out this week to the winning team in the Progressive Stableford competition, which comprised of Karen Pennington, Gwyneth Holt and Rose Romahlo. They scored an amazing 66 points.

Our runners up were Olwen Davies, Tracy Smith and Sue Kendrick who scored 60 points.

Well done to Tracy, who scored a 2 on the 4th hole and Olwen, who scored a 2 on the 6th hole.

Next Tuesday, I am looking forward to welcoming ladies playing with their guests in our Invitation Day.

In the July Medal competition, which took place on Tuesday 26th July, there were some great scores.

In Division One, Jo Pratt won on a count back with a nett 70. Karen Pennington was runner up with a nett 70 too.

In Division Two, Lesley Smith won with a great score of 67 nett, including a birdie 2 on the 4th hole. Liz Gardner was runner up with a nett 72.
