Dress Code and House Rules

DRESS ON THE COURSE

The following types of attire are prohibited on the course and Council will discipline persistent offenders:

  • Jeans, tracksuits, tee shirts, garments bearing slogans and unsuitable footwear such as trainers or tennis shoes are not permitted on the golf course.

DRESS IN THE MAIN CLUBHOUSE/DINING ROOM

Smart casual dress, but members must be aware that, in the main lounge, they should not wear the same clothes after playing golf.

SMOKING

is allowed only outside the Clubhouse in areas designated and appropriately signed.  This rule is for cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

MOBILE PHONES

must always be switched to silent mode. Calls must not be taken or made on the course, in the Clubhouse or within earshot of players except in an extreme emergency. Mobile phones must always be switched off during Prize Presentations.
