Alderley Edge is one of the most challenging and enjoyable 9-hole courses in Cheshire
The course commands fine views of the 'Edge' escarpment which rises high above the beautiful Cheshire Plain. The 5794 yard, parkland course, set in rolling meadowland, has well-wooded areas.
Whether you choose the full 18 or just have time for 9, you can be sure of a very warm welcome and enjoyable round at Alderley Edge Golf Club.
For my money the best nine-holer in the North-West. A fabulously undulating piece of ground with very clever use of the same meandering stream on six holes.
The 7th/16th is a majestic hole which would not be out of place on any course in the world. Don't be fooled by the lack of 18 holes - this is a serious golf course!
We held our annual Stewart Clan Golf Day at AEGC last September which was a great success.
28 golfers took the course with it’s undulating fairways and fabulous views with bacon or sausage butties and coffee at the halfway point. 60 family and friends then sat down to an excellent 3 course carvery lunch in the Edge View Suite.
Many thanks to all at AEGC – See you in September 2019

The clubhouse provides attractive surroundings in which to relax after a round. The popular Spike Bar is ideal for an immediate post-golf drink, and snack meals can be ordered in here. The main lounge features a large bay window providing views out onto the course, and the dining room overlooks the final green.
