Alderley Edge Golf ClubThe Juniors competed for the Captain’s Prize on Sunday. James Hey came out the victor with 17 points, following up his victory recently in the Williamson Trophy. Sam Short, the Junior Captain, came 2nd on a card play off, also with 17 points. Luca Crolla came 3rd with 15 points. Very well played to all who entered.
From the 17th September, the Junior roll-up will move to Sundays at 4pm. This will be the regular slot in 2018. Many thanks to Paul Short for his excellent organisation of the roll-ups and junior competitions this year. The numbers attending recently and the rapidly improving standard of several of the Juniors has laid the platform to be optimistic of another stellar group coming through in the next few years.
