There was a decent turnout for the Pro Shop Stableford this week considering it was Christmas Eve.

Division one was won by Bob Pindar with 18 points, Mike Davies came second with 17.

Division two was won by Craig Jefferson with 21 points, Craig Abbottson narrowly missed out also with 21.

The only birdie 2 was by Billy Bennett who collects £23.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated prizes, bought tickets and attended tonight's draw. There was a great atmosphere doing the draw in between the extra time and penalties of the World Cup Final!

Below is a list of all the prize winners, if you have won anything that is substantial in size I would be grateful if you could collect it from me as soon as possible to create a bit of room in the shop.

We set ourselves a £5000 target for a new Torro green iron to improve the speed and consistency of the greens, I will update you on our final figure once I have the money in from all sources but I think we are going to be close!

The rain stayed away for most of the players for this stableford, the course remains dry considering the rain we have had.

Division one was won by Jan Cichocki with 18 points, Gary Johnstone and Drew Roberts had 17

Division two was won by Billy Bennett with 22 points, Keith Doyle and John Atkinson came second with 20.

There were no 2's last week which means the £23 pot rolled forward to this week. In total there was '£44 in the 2's pot and was shared by Mike Davies, Andrew Boyle and Gordon Stewart.

We had a cracking days weather for this stableford, the course was remarkably dry considering the rain we have had over the past couple of days. The drainage works that have been done are clearly paying dividends! The course was in fabulous condition for the time of year.

Division one was won by Andrew Young with 23 points, Gary Johnstone and Jan Cichocki both had 19

Division two was won by Keith Doyle with 23 points, Bernie Cummings came second with 19.
