Alderley Edge Golf ClubFourteen golfers out of a planned 26 made it to the first tee in very wet conditions this morning (Mon 27 July) to be dried out briefly with short bursts of sunshine throughout the round.
Alan Adams came first with 31 points. After a card playoff for 2nd and 3rd place between Drew Sutton, Gerrard Appleton and Dave Read all scoring 29 points, Drew Sutton took 2nd place and Gerrard Appleton 3rd.

No two's were recorded this morning so the full prize money has been divided between the 3 players.
Let's hope for better weather for the next comp - the J C Brown Bowl on the 5th August.
